With a growing world population, sustainable agricultural production needs to be increased, global supply chains improved, food waste reduced, and access to nutritious food ensured to combat hunger and malnutrition. Evaco Foundation has taken various steps towards this goal, including distributing anti-waste recipe books to their employees, partnering with Grand Baie village for food distribution during lockdown, creating the first library in Agalega, and providing monthly donations to offer breakfast and lunch to 26 children daily for a year.
